PAYMENT POLICY

NOTE:

Bookings made through Facebook or Instagram follow these policies only.
Bookings made through Online Travel Agents (such as Booking.com, Agoda, or Airbnb) follow the policies set by each respective platform.

Full Payment – Get your booking confirmation right away.

50% Down Payment – Pay within 24 hours; balance due 10 days before check-in.

Remaining Balance Clause:
- If the remaining payment is not made at least 3 days prior to your booking, or if the payment policy is ignored, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation.
- In such cases, your down payment will be returned to you, subject to a penalty fee based on the total rate of the reserved accommodation/s: 20% on regular days and 50% on holidays/weekends.

Payment methods:
- GCash
- Bank transfer / Online banking
- Bank deposit (over-the-counter)

For faster confirmation, pay between 8 AM – 3 PM, Mon–Fri.

CANCELLATION / REBOOKING / REFUND POLICIES

NOTE:

Full Refund (No Penalty)
- Applies only in cases of severe weather or natural disasters, supported by official warnings (e.g., PAGASA, Mati CDRRMO), that affect Mati City or its access routes.
- No rebooking; a full refund will be issued instead of rescheduling.

No Refund (Last-minute Cancellation/Rebooking or No Show)
- Cancellations/Rebookings made 1 day or on your check-in date are non-refundable and non-transferable (i.e., cannot be rebooked).
- Only severe weather or natural disasters, supported by official warnings, are accepted.

20% Penalty (Weekday Check-ins)
- Cancellations/Rebookings made 2–9 business days from your check-in date.
- The 20% penalty will be calculated from your total rate.

50% Penalty (Weekend/Long Weekend/Holiday Check-ins)
- Cancellations/Rebookings made 2–9 business days from your check-in date.
- The 50% penalty will be calculated from your total rate.

Changing of Accommodation
- Changing your accommodation on the day of check-in (e.g., upgrading or downgrading) is considered a cancelled booking and will incur a transfer fee, plus or minus the rate difference between accommodations.

  • 50% Transfer Fee – for weekend, long weekend, or holiday bookings

  • 30% Transfer Fee – for weekday bookings

Sample Computation:

Current: Sola 7pax – ₱8,000

50% Transfer Fee (holiday/weekend): ₱8,000 × 50% = ₱4,000

New Accommodation: Habagat 7pax – ₱12,500

New Total Payment: ₱12,500 + ₱4,000 = ₱16,500
Note: Transferred accommodations may cost more due to the penalties incurred when changing on the day of check-in.

Why do we have penalties?

As a small homestay establishment with only 5 accommodations, any last-minute changes or cancellations can have a significant impact on our revenue and operations.

We have provided a fair, transparent, and flexible cancellation and rebooking policy for guests who give sufficient notice. Therefore, it is reasonable that we enforce transfer fees for the following.

Personal reasons/emergencies are not exempt from the penalties, as this policy was presented clearly before confirming or paying for the accommodation.

What is a Business Day?

A business day means any day except Saturday and Sunday. Our business hours are 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
